ROCK N ROLL BOOT CAMP
21 - 24 Jan 2020
Rock n Roll Boot Camp is a 4 day band focused holiday programme for young musicians, providing a great opportunity to write, record and perform their own music under the guidance of some of the best musicians in Wellington. Students are streamed into bands of a similar age and skill level, and coached through writing a song while learning techniques and conventions used in modern songwriting. The students spend 3 days writing their songs in sessions with their band and tutor, as well as studying performance in large, interactive group sessions. On the final day, each band goes into the studio to record their songs, and together put on a rock show to showcase their songs on the final night! Check out the albums from the previous programmes, below.
This opportunity provides a great way for young musicians to network and socialise with like-minded people, build confidence, experience the real-world aspects of being a working musician, and learn invaluable skills that will influence their musicianship in the future.
